Opening Remarks

Barbara Carroll congratulated Maureen O’Sullivan on being elected the new Alderman of Ward 11. Kathleen Smith-Bogan of the Dixwell Management Team, resigned from the board.

B. Agenda Review
A motion to accept agenda was made by Robert Spirito, seconded by Frank Cochran; unanimous approval.

C. Review of Minutes
Motion to accept minutes made by Robert Spirito, seconded by Frank Cochran; approved with one (1) abstention.

D. Internal Affairs Statistical Report
Captain Peterson reported fourteen (14) cases were closed, three (3) 2008 cases and eleven (11) 2009 cases. Eleven (11) new cases opened this month.

E. Internal Affairs (IA) Remarks
Two new investigators have been assigned to Internal Affairs.

F. Subcommittee Reports – NACOLE
Shirley W. Washington attended the NACOLE conference in Austin, Texas. Main topics were: Focus on the Future, Best Practices of international agencies and Code of Ethics.

G. Unfinished Business
Panels A & B - All available closed cases have been read. Frank Cochran requested that the entire Board read case 142-08 C by the January 2010 meeting.
Letters will be sent Management Teams regarding representative’s commitment & attendance.

H. New Business - Nominations for Officers

Election for Officers will be at the December meeting.
